babyclothes.trade started at a kitchen table, surrounded by bags of tiny onesies that had been worn three or four times before our kids outgrew them. We knew other families had the same bags in their closets — and that some of them were about to spend real money on exactly what we were storing. So we built a simple place to connect the two.

Today babyclothes.trade is a community marketplace where parents, grandparents and caregivers buy, sell and trade baby and toddler clothes. Whether you want to earn a little back from a newborn wardrobe, pick up a snowsuit for a fraction of retail, or swap a 6–9 month bundle for the next size up, you can do it here in a couple of minutes.

We believe the site should be free — truly free. There are no listing fees, no commission on sales and no premium memberships. Families already spend enough on the first few years; we would rather help you keep that money. We keep the lights on through community support and carefully chosen partnerships that never get between buyers and sellers.

Trading clothes is also one of the simplest things a family can do for the planet. Every garment that gets a second or third life means less water, energy and dye used to make a new one, and fewer perfectly good clothes in landfill. Baby clothes are ideal for this: they are outgrown long before they are worn out.
